Sweet Bonanza CandyLand: How the Live Game Show Works

What is Sweet Bonanza CandyLand?

In CandyLand you watch a live studio stream. Before each round, you place bets on the wheel segments you think will come up. The presenter spins the wheel; if it stops on a number you backed, you win according to that number. If it stops on a bonus segment you backed, a bonus game starts — these are themed on Sweet Bonanza and its candies.

How betting works

1. A betting timer opens between rounds.
2. You choose one or more segments: number segments or bonus segments.
3. When the timer ends, the wheel spins.
4. Winning bets are paid; bonus segments start a bonus game for players who backed them.

Because every round runs on a timer, CandyLand is slower than a slot. That can be a good thing: fewer rounds per hour means a slower spend for the same stake.

The bonus games

According to the game information, CandyLand includes several candy-themed bonus games, such as a drop-style game where a candy falls through pegs into a prize slot, and a mini Sweet Bonanza-style round with multipliers. The exact bonus games, multipliers and payouts are described in the game’s help screen and can be updated by the provider.

Why there is no demo

Live games run in real time with a real presenter, so there is no play-money version. Many casinos let you watch the stream without betting, which is the closest thing to a demo. If you want to learn the candy mechanics first, use the free Sweet Bonanza slot demo.

RTP and risk

Each segment of the wheel has its own return, stated in the game’s help screen. Bets on frequent low-number segments tend to have steadier results, while bets on bonus segments are much more volatile. Live show rounds still carry a house edge, and the social atmosphere can make sessions last longer than planned. Set a time limit as well as a budget.
